Work with founders
From 2019 to 2024 Tash worked at UNSW Founders, the University of New South Wales entrepreneurship program, where she coached early-stage and pre Series A startups and, as Global Founders Program Manager, helped established startups with their international plans.
She has mentored and coached at Startmate since 2021, including as a mentor and coach for the Summer 2022 accelerator cohort, and spoke to Startmate's Women Fellowship on changing career direction.
Speaking and commentary
Tash has hosted and spoken at startup events in Sydney since 2019. She was MC of Haymarket HQ's Ideas Feast pitch night with Study NSW and Sparkfest in November 2019, joined a UNSW Founders and City of Sydney panel on food innovation, and was the guest at an Earlywork Education Meetup for its education community.
As Global Founders Program Manager she represented UNSW when UNSW Founders was named first runner-up in the Asia Pacific Triple E Awards. Women's Agenda quoted her as founder and CEO of Lockpick Games, one of the partner startups in a free online program built with Sydney's Tech Central.
Founder
Tash founded Lockpick Games (Lockpick Learning) in 2021. It turns students' interest in video games into practice for standardised tests, and was named by SmartCompany in 2022 as one of three standout startups from that year's Startmate accelerator. Lockpick is now working with Treeman Games in the US on tabletop games.
Earlier career
Before moving into startups she spent seven years in government and international relations, including strategic policy at the Australian Department of Defence, as the inaugural China Alumni Engagement Manager at the Australian Embassy in Beijing, and at the China-Australia Chamber of Commerce. She holds a BA in International Studies from RMIT University and a master's in international relations from Tsinghua University.
In 2025 she wrote Superpower Signals, a weekly health science digest for Superpower. She is also a qualified group fitness instructor.
